Boalsburg VFD Parade
May 29, 2010 - Boalsburg, Pa
May 29, 2010 Is Parade Night in Downtown Boalsburg. Line-up begins at 3 pm. at the Blue Spring Park. Parade will start at 5 pm. Rain or Shine. The parade will feature bands, floats, twirling groups and lots of Fire, Police and E.M.S. Apparatus. If your interested in being a part of our Parade let us know. We would be glad to have you. The route will step off from Blue Spring Park run down E. Pine St. past the "The 3 House" to Boal Ave. it will make a left onto Boal. Ave. then a left on to E. Main St. It will head West on Main and end back at Pine. The Carnival food stands will be open prior to the parade so feel free to stop in and get something to eat while you watch the Parade.
Following the Parade The Carnival will be open for an evening filled with Food , Rides, Games and Fun.

Memorial Day Parade

The parade is Sponsored by The Hookstown Volunteer Fire Department and American Legion Post 952. May 31, 2010

The parade starts in Hookstown and follows Route 168 Approx. 1 Mile to the American Legion Post 952. A short Memorial Service is held After the parade concludes.
Trophies are awarded for: Best Band, Best Float, Best Drill Team, Best Marching Group, Best Motorized Unit, Best Tractor, Best Equestrian, (Fire Units: Newest Unit, Oldest Unit, Best Appearing, Longest Distance Traveled.

2010 Sweet Valley Fireman's Fair Parade
May 31, 2010 - Sweet Valley, Pa
Memorial Weekend Fair and Parade The Sweet Valley Volunteer Fire Company at 5383 Main Road, Sweet Valley will hold their annual Memorial Weekend Fair on Thursday May 27 (5:30pm to 11:00pm); Friday May 28 (5:30pm to 11:00pm); Saturday May 29 (1:00pm to 11:00pm); and Monday May 31(10:00am to 10:00pm). There will be a parade on May 31, beginning at 1:30pm.
Marching units, floats, or anyone wishing to take part in the parade should contact our fair chairman, John Oley at 256-6064.

2010 Lancaster County PA Firemen's Convention & Parade
June 5, 2010 - Leola, Pa
Bareville and Upper Leacock Fire Companies of Upper Leacock Township, Lancaster County PA are pleased to announce the 100th Anniversary of the 2 stations. With the celebration of 100 years of volunteering, we will be hosting the 90th Annual Lancaster County Firemen's Association Convention & Parade.
Saturday June 5, 2010 at 6pm will be the judging and parade, followed by awards. Food vendors will be on hand for lunch and snacks, beverages ect. Please feel free to contact myself or another member of the Convention Committee if you are interested in attending and have not received an invitation. Deadline for registration for the parade is May 1, 2010. Hope to see you there.

113th Four County Firemen's Convention and Parade
June 19, 2010 - Walnutport, Pa
The Slatington Fire Department and Diamond Fire Company of Walnutport are cordially inviting you to participate in the 113th Four County Firemen's Convention and Parade. The Convention will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. in the Diamond Fire Company Social Hall located at 110 Main Street in the Borough of Walnutport. The Parade will be held (rain or shine) on Saturday, June 26, 2010 with registration and judging starting at 8:00 A.M. and will be conducted at the Northern Lehigh School Complex located at 1 Bulldog Lane in the Borough of Slatington. The parade will begin promptly at 1:00 P.M. starting on Main Street in the Borough of Slatington and continue on Main Street into the Borough of Walnutport. The parade route is 2 miles long.
After the parade there will be food and beverages available along with entertainment. Souvenir t-shirts and mugs will also be available at both the Convention and Parade. We hope to see you there to help celebrate the Four County Firemen's Association 113th Anniversary. Fireman's Picnic and Parade
July 8, 2010 - Union Dale, Pa
The Firemen's Picnic will be held on July 8, 9, & 10, 2010 at the Picnic Grounds on State Rt. 2023, Union Dale. Thursday is opening night with the parade at 7p.m. (note: this is a change from previous years). Friday night's firework show is at 10:30p.m. Saturday night starts at 4p.m. with Tractor Races! There's always plenty of food, clams and beer! Plan to come out and enjoy nightly music and fun at the games, bingo, dunk tank and fire truck rides with your family, friends and neighbors. We hope to see you there!!!

JUDGING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE Tamaqua Area Sr. High School Parking Lot From 5 p.m. Till 6:45 p.m.

56th Annual Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighter’s Convention Parade
August 21, 2010 - Frackville, Pa
Parade Rules & Regulations
1. Registration will be held from 8:30 am to 11:00 am at the Good Will Hose Co. 225 S. Balliet St. Frackville.
2. Judging will be held from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at the Schuylkill Mall. All units must be at judging by 11:00 am.
3. No more than 3 firefighters may accompany a unit during judging.
4. Any one unit or apparatus may enter competition under only one category of their choosing.
5. Any intoxicated person or alcoholic beverages on an apparatus before or during the parade will automatically disqualify that unit.
6. Apparatus driver must register as designated drivers and must wear the designated wristband during and after the parade.
7. No bells, sirens, loudspeakers, air horns, or any other sound device during the parade. Violators will be disqualified.
8. Judges reviewing stand will be at the Good Will Hose Co. 225 S. Balliet Street, Frackville.
9. All judges decisions are final.
10. Frackville Borough and Butler Township apparatus will not be eligible for judging.
11. In case of an emergency, only Frackville Borough and Butler Township units, or their designated units will respond.
12. Prizes will be awarded as soon as possible after the parade.
13. Parade will start promptly at 1:00 pm, rain or shine.
14. All personnel riding apparatus during the parade shall be seated and belted in designated seating positions.
15. Marching units and bands must have a representative register prior to 11:00 am. These units will be judged during the line of march.
16. All Schuylkill County Volunteer Firefighters Association members shall have their dues paid in full to be eligible for judging and awards as In-County.
17. All units entered for competition must stay in line until dismissed at the Friendship Fire Co. 147 N. 7th Street, Frackville.
